Thank you for your interest in the position of Accounts Project Manager.
Being the first Disabled People’s Organisation of its kind in Scotland when it was founded by disabled people in 1991, LCiL has grown and developed new services, listening to the people it serves. Building on our success, our aim between now and 2022 is to be recognised as a Centre of Excellence for Independent Living, through the implementation of our strategic framework.
Our vision of the future, and ability to make it a reality, depend in part in making some choices and taking key decisions based on sound financial information and thorough budgeting.
As our organisation relies on a variety of contractual agreements, project funding and trusts donations, the Accounts Project Manager will have a very important role in reviewing and developing our accounting systems so that it supports the understanding and decision making process of the Board. As a member of the Senior Management Team, I would be keen to work closely with you to ensure that the same accounting systems, and tools for budgeting and financial planning, are fit for purpose and sustainable.
If you feel that you share our values and have the experience and skills to help shape the future of our organisation, so that we continue to make a difference to people’s life, I would be delighted to hear from you.
