Penumbra are looking for Voluntary Board Members to join their organisation.
Mental health is now clearly recognised as a key factor in relation to social, economic and physical wellbeing. For over 30 years Penumbra has been developing and delivering innovative services and activities in Scottish communities. Each week we deliver support to 1600 adults and young people, providing dynamic and outcomes focused support to enable people to achieve their personal goals.
We are seeking voluntary Board members to support our work and shape our future plans. If you have an interest/experience in mental health and wellbeing, good independent judgement and the ability to work effectively as a member of a team then we would like to hear from you. We are particularly keen to strengthen the board in relation to skills/experience in finance, fundraising, advocacy or HR or your own personal or family experience of mental health issues.
The Board meets six times per year and has two sub-committees. Induction visits, training and support will be provided.
