The Health Agency are seeking to appoint a Treasurer for the Board of Directors

Our Mission Statement is: The Agency will seek to enable local people to take action that makes a positive impact on their own and their community's physical, mental and emotional well-being. 

 

The Board of Directors consists of a maximum of 10 directors from a variety of backgrounds 

The role of the Board of Directors: is to manage the staff and resources of the Health Agency within the agreed policies and funding agreements.

The role of the treasurer: is to provide an overview of the Health Agency finances based on information provided by senior staff. To work with senior staff in developing financial strategies aimed at improving the funding base of the organisation.

Qualities/skills and experience:

The ability to analyse financial information and present it in a clear and useful form to the Board of Directors. 

Commitment to the democratic management practices of small charitable organisations.

Good understanding of Third Sector Organisations or willingness to learn.
