Women’s Aid East and Midlothian (WAEML) aims to empower women until all women, children and young people are free and safe from domestic abuse. They are currently seeking a Treasurer to join our Board of volunteer trustees as they enter an exciting new phase of growth and development.
The Treasurer is a key office-bearer who will help to strengthen their existing finance team. They’re looking for a creative and innovative feminist who can add to the skills mix of their current trustees, share their core values, have a passion for women’s and children’s rights and uphold their commitment to equality, inclusion and opportunity for all. The Treasurer will have an accountancy/finance background and experience of the charity sector and/or strategic planning would also be desirable.
They are keen to improve the diversity of their Board and particularly welcome applications from women in black and ethnic minority and /or disability communities.
If you’d like to find out more about what is involved in being a trustee at WAEML contact their CEO at: firstname.lastname@example.org, they can also arrange for you have a chat with one of their trustees.
