A Glasgow-based IT solutions provider required an Accounts professional for a Trainee Systems Accountant position.

The Role

This is an exciting and unique opportunity to further develop your career and become a Systems Accountant.

You will be a key point of contact for client businesses with regards to the implementation and rolling out of their new Microsoft Dynamics system. You will work closely with the client to ensure their needs are met and all relevant employees are fully trained on the use of the system and any issues are dealt with quickly and efficiently, in line with service level agreements



  • Work closely with the IT implementation team to ensure the needs of each client are met
  • Liaise with clients to ensure they have a thorough understanding of the system
  • Deliver training and on-going support to client employees
  • Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge of the systems
  • Visit client sites throughout the UK
  • Troubleshooting of issues on behalf of clients
  • Maintain excellent levels of customer service at all times


On Offer

This fantastic opportunity comes with a salary of £25-35k, plus other benefits.  


To be considered for this opportunity, you must have the following experience:

  • You will be a Part-Qualified or QBE Accountant with recent experience of a hands-on Accounts role
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics would be beneficial but full training will be provided
  • You must have a strong interest in becoming a systems accountant
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills will be required

  • This is not a traditional Accountancy role so may not be suitable for candidates with aspirations to become Chartered Accountants
