This role offers exposure to some excellent clients and an environment where you will be supported through your development. Support towards AAT/CTA will also be provided.

On Offer

The position of Tax Graduate has arisen based in Edinburgh within a well-established business and is offering a highly competitive graduate salary.

In this role, your main duties and responsibilities will include, but not be restricted to:

  • Assisting in the preparation of personal tax returns for a portfolio of clients, which could include high net worth individuals and all relevant taxes
  • Preparation of corporation tax returns
  • To assist in the preparation of Forms P11d
  • Actively supporting and co-operate with other members of the Tax team
  • Dealing with queries
  • Tax planning
  • Other ad hoc duties

The successful candidate will have:

  • Graduated with a finance orientated degree
  • Have an exposure to a finance office environment - advantageous but not essential
  • A working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Previous experience of financial systems is also advantageous but not a requirement
  • Great communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Fantastic people skills, with the ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders
