iMultiply are delighted to be engaged on the position of Tax Senior Manager/Director with a leading Accountancy firm based in Dundee.

A modern, ambitious and forward thinking mid-tier firm with an excellent reputation on the market for providing an excellent level of service to clients. The Practice has grown significantly in recent years and constantly on the lookout for ways to develop and enhance the business.

The Role

This opportunity has arisen due to the continued success of the Tax team across the firm’s offices. This is an excellent role for a Tax professional looking to work with a mix of small owner managed business alongside those with an international presence. You will be tasked with growing the firm’s impressive client base with a clear route to Partner available for the right candidate.

The role of Tax Senior Manager/Director will offer a competitive salary of £50,000 - £70,000 plus benefits.

You will be involved in but not restricted to the following duties:

  • Managing a diverse client portfolio to deliver work to a high standard
  • Act as an approachable and motivational figure to achieve your team's potential
  • Provide expert tax advice on advisory projects
  • Building client relationships
  • Reviewing corporation tax returns and computations
  • Liaising with other departments to ensure a concise and co-ordinated client service
  • Networking to develop the firm’s client base and cross selling other specialisms
  • Managing a medium sized team and conducting appraisals

To be considered for this role you must:

  • Extensive experience of providing Corporate Tax expertise within the SME market as well as with larger business
  • CTA/ICAS or equivalent qualified
  • Experience of managing staff
  • Experience of reviewing the work of junior team members
  • A strong business acumen
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills
  • Strong leadership skills
