iMultiply are partnering with an established global firm to recruit a professionally qualified Accountant for what is a key role within its Outsourced Accounting Service practice.  The role will be based in Belfast and will focus on the preparation and review of statutory accounts for a wide range of clients, primarily within the SME sector but customers also include multinational companies across the UK and ROI. A strong working knowledge of accounting under IFRS (gained in industry or practice) in addition to exceptional stakeholder management skills are key to success in this position. There is significant scope for career progression and team leadership opportunities in this business area, as there is the potential to gain experience in management accounting. 

Key responsibilities include: 

  • Preparation of statutory accounts (single entity and group) for SME and multinational customers across the UK and ROI
  • Utilising primarily cloud based accounting software applications to ensure the efficient production of statutory accounts and required disclosures.
  • Acting as a finance business partner to customers.  

Ideally you will have the following:

  • Professional Qualification (ACA, ACCA or CPA).
  • Strong experience of statutory accounts preparation gained in either industry or practice.
  • A working knowledge of accounting frameworks: FRS101, 102, 105 and IFRS.
  • Experience of planning and producing accurate detailed work to meet agreed deadlines.
