The Role

This newly created Senior Finance Analyst position is a key role within the finance team, and you will also need to develop strong links between Sales, Operations and Technology functions, and the Change Management team to facilitate operational and process improvements via a number of projects. The role will include some business analysis exposure leading to process and reporting improvement, applications development (ranging from customisation / enhancements to the existing environment through to new modules) whilst ensuring full compatibility and integration with all operational systems

The role of Senior Finance Analyst will offer a salary of £40,000 - £45,000 plus a highly competitive benefits package. The office premises are based just outside Dundee and are easily accessible via public transport and have parking facilitates available on site which is ideal for commuting.

You will be responsible for but not limited to following duties:

  • Support in the writing of process documents and work instructions clearly and precisely.
  • Communicate application problems and issues to Technology and key business stakeholders.
  • Work with 3rd party suppliers and Global Offices / Partners to establish enabling, productive relationships.
  • Assist and in some cases create and design UAT scripts and use case scenarios to support any release and change management activities.
  • Proactively initiate and lead ERP related projects and process improvements.
  • Understand the importance of robust systems and processes to establish quality data driven business analysis.
  • Drive systems process efficiencies for improved lean development.
  • Communicate application risks and issues to key stakeholders, and work with the Technology Team and 3rd party suppliers to resolve them.
  • Analyse business requirements, propose solutions and implement agreed changes and/or improvements.
  • Work in conjunction with the Technology, Finance and CMO departments in delivering systems and system enhancements to the business.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and general systems housekeeping to ensure systems operate efficiently
  • Provide support services for all related systems.

To be considered for this opportunity, you must have the following experience:

  • Significant experience using NAV 2013, 2017 or newer.
  • Experienced MS Dynamics 365 (F&A / AX) user.
  • Experienced project team key contributor on global ERP system implementation / improvements.
  • Experienced BA with process mapping skills (MS Visio preferred).
  • MS Office with intermediate Excel knowledge (advanced is desirable).
  • MI reporting and/or use of Jet Global Reports / Analytics (desirable not essential).
  • Qualified accountant (or qualified by experience).
