iMultiply Resourcing is delighted to be engaged on an exciting opportunity, with one of the UK's most progressive businesses. The role of Purchase Ledger role offers a salary of £18,000 - £22,000 plus a lucrative benefits package.


The post holder will work in a fast-paced, global environment providing support to the Head of Finance. The successful candidate will take ownership of all aspects of the accounts payable function, focusing on efficient, accurate coding and processing of key financial documents.

The successful candidate will report directly to the Head of Finance. Joining a fast paced growing organisation based in Motherwell


  • Checking and sending purchase orders to suppliers
  • Monitoring outstanding / query purchase orders and liaising with suppliers directly
  • Monitoring accounts mailbox for queries and incoming invoices
  • Matching invoices to purchase orders and goods received by stores
  • Coding and processing of supplier invoices to the accounting system
  • Dealing with supplier/invoice queries
  • Reconciling monthly key supplier accounts
  • Posting of petty cash receipts to the accounting system
  • Processing of staff expenses and posting to the accounting system
  • Finance administration including filing, archiving, completion of forms etc


  • HNC/D in Accounting or similar equivalent (desirable but not essential)
  • Foundation AAT or similar equivalent (desirable but not essential)


  • Minimum 1-2 years’ work experience in a commercial finance team/purchase ledger role
  • Experience using accountancy software
  • Excellent written/oral communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
  • A thorough approach to work and high attention to detail
  • Strong time management and organisational skills
