An opportunity has arisen for a Part Time Purchase Ledger Clerk for a 6-month fixed term contract in Dundee offering a competitive salary.

The Company

This established business has been producing some highly impressive financials and performance levels over the past 10 years which has resulted in significant growth. This growth is showing no signs of slowing down with the business targeting multiple acquisitions over the next 24 months to ensure the consistent evolution of the business.

The Role

You will join a friendly and supportive team and assist with the processing of invoices, and other general aspects of purchase ledger.  Ideally you should have gained exposure to high volume invoice processing, monthly reconciliations.  In addition, discretion and confidentiality are imperative.

On Offer

This part time role allows a degree of flexibility and your 20 hours can done over three or five days. 

As the Purchase Ledger Clark, you will be involved in but not restricted to the following duties:

  • Processing invoices
  • Supplier statement reconciliations
  • Bank reconciliations
  • General maintenance of the purchase ledger
  • Liaising with budget holders to ensure invoices are authorised for payment
  • General assistance with finance administration within the team

Attributes/ Qualities

  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office including Excel
  • Ability to manage high volume processing
  • Pro-active and prepared to go the extra mile
  • Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
