The Role

The new position of Private Client Tax Assistant Manager/Manager has arisen based in Edinburgh city centre. This role could quickly lead to Director level within the next few years for the right individual. The position sits within an energetic and dynamic environment where they are always looking for ways to refine and improve their processes to ensure their client service remains at a market leading level.

On Offer

The role of Private Client Tax Assistant Manager/Manager will offer a salary of £40,000 - £50,000 plus an excellent benefits package. The Firm’s offices are based in the Edinburgh city centre and are easily accessible via public transport.

You will be involved in but not restricted to the following duties:

  • Management of a variety of clients including HNWI
  • Preparing Income and CGT Tax Computations
  • Assisting senior management in delivery of tax advisory work
  • Liaising with clients
  • Liaising with HMRC and external stakeholders
  • Developing and assisting in the management of a small team

To be considered for this role you must:

  • At least 3 years’ practice experience – ESSENTIAL
  • ATT/CTA or equivalent Qualified - DESIRABLE
  • Have an Accountancy Firm/Practice or Legal background – ESSENTIAL
  • Have experience of Tax Planning – DESIRABLE
  • Have a keen interest in developing and coaching other team members
  • Have exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Be a proficient user of Microsoft Office
