The Role

Due to significant growth over the past few years, the position of a Personal Tax Assistant Senior has arisen based in Dundee offering a competitive salary and excellent progression opportunities.  Whether you are looking to study or you have already begun your professional tax exams, a fully study support package will be provided.  

The duties and responsibilities in this role will include but not be limited to the following:

  • Income tax return preparation and computation of tax liabilities
  • Preparation of capital gains tax computations
  • Preparation of partnership tax returns
  • Preparation of trust tax returns
  • Drafting letters to clients, H M Revenue & Customs and third parties
  • Assisting with general taxation matters as necessary
  • Telephone communication with HM Revenue & Customs and other third parties
  • General administration including the use of word and excel

The successful candidate for this opportunity will have:

  • Worked within a tax orientated role for a minimum of 12 months
  • Already started or has the intention of completing their CAT or ATT exams 
  • Strong Microsoft Excel experience
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal 
  • The ability to work to tight deadlines in a fast paced environment
