The role of Personal Tax Assistant will offer a competitive salary of £19,000 - £23,000 plus a strong benefits package. 

You will be involved in but not restricted to the following duties:

  • Assist and support Tax Consultants and professionals in handling Taxation matters
  • Working with a wide range of Personal & Corporate clients - sole traders, partnerships, limited companies & charities
  • Prepare both Personal & Corporate Tax returns
  • Providing sound advice & guidance to clients regarding a variety of Tax matters
  • Prepare, organise and handle various Tax documents, reports and statements
  • Ensure full Tax compliance and legislation is adhered to at all times
  • Manage, maintain and update the Tax database
  • Ensure compliance with Tax professional standards and ethics in Tax Assistant functions
  • Assist, support and review the work of Junior staff within the team
  • Ad-hoc duties as and when required within the firm
  • Liaising closely with the Audit & Accounts team to ensure all work is completed accurately and timely


To be considered for this opportunity, you must have the following experience:

  • Minimum 6 months experience gained within a CA environment
  • ATT/CTA Qualified or studying is preferred 
  • Mixed Tax experience would be ideal, however will consider Personal or Corporate exposure as full training will be provided
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing
