The Position

This role will involve overseeing a team of 3 and reporting directly to the Partner. The role offers the opportunity to take ownership of a varied and interesting portfolio of clients within a supportive and progressive environment. To be considered for this position you must have experience within an Accountancy Practice or Bureau environment.

On Offer

The role Payroll Supervisor will offer a salary of £24,000 - £26,000 plus CIPP study support. The business' offices are based in Edinburgh.

You will be involved in but not restricted to the following duties:

  • Management of a large portfolio of clients to fulfil all their payroll needs - these clients including Private Sector, Public Sector, Charity etc
  • Overseeing the full payroll process from start to finish
  • Reviewing the work of the administrators
  • Training and coaching the team through on the job support and more formal sessions
  • Developing and refining processes to drive efficiencies
  • KPI reporting
  • Reporting directly to the Partner

 To be considered for this position you must be:

  • A minimum of 3 years working with a Payroll position or a role which incorporated full Payroll duties
  • Experience of processing Payroll within an Accountancy Firm/Bureau
  • Knowledge of Payroll systems
  • Ability to interact with wide range of internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
