iMultiply are delighted to be engaged exclusively on a fantastic opportunity for a permanent Part Time Payroll Administrator based on the outskirts of Edinburgh.

The Role

The Part Time Payroll Administrator will report directly to the HR Director but will also have a dotted line to the Financial Controller. The successful candidate will have experience of processing high volumes of payroll and ideally will have operated within a fast paced environment.

On Offer

The role of Part Time Payroll Administrator will offer a salary of £18,000 - £22,000 plus a highly competitive benefits package. The headquarters of the business are on the outskirts of Edinburgh based and have parking available onsite. The role will be approximately 20 hours a week with the option for a flexible working arrangement.

You will be involved in but not restricted to the following duties:

  • Reporting to the HR Director with a dotted line to the Financial Controller
  • Processing a weekly and monthly payroll for in excess of 2,000 employees
  • Ensuring adherence with regulations and statutory returns including RTI, auto-enrolment and HMRC
  • Dealing with internal questions and queries while maintaining an excellent lever of customer service
  • Ensuring that the Company’s policies and procedures are followed at all times whilst adhering to company information agreements
  • Liaising with HR to maintain a large staff database including processing starters & leavers
  • Adhoc duties

To be considered for this opportunity you must have the following experience:

  • A minimum of 18 months practical payroll experience
  • Experience of processing high volumes of payroll
  • Exposure of the system Northgate would be advantageous
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
