The Company

This business has significantly grown over the last 5 years as a result of expanding existing divisions and adding new divisions. They have now have a very talented and dynamic Senior Management team in place who have been tasked with further growth & enhancing their already impressive reputation. 

The Position

The position of Part Time Payroller is a new position as a result of the growth highlighted above. This role is a standalone role which offers the opportunity to take ownership of a varied and interesting portfolio of clients within a supportive and progressive environment. To be considered for this position you must have experience within an Accountancy Practice or Bureau environment.

On Offer

The role of Part Time Payroller will offer a salary of £21,000 - £25,000 plus a competitive benefits package including support towards CIPP studies. The business' offices are based in Edinburgh.

You will be involved in but not restricted to the following duties:

  • Management of a large portfolio of clients to fulfil all their payroll needs - these clients including Private Sector, Public Sector, Charity etc
  • Taking full responsibility for the start to finish processing of clients’ payroll
  • Processing and advising on Statutory Payment such as; SSP, SPP, SMP Holiday Entitlements etc.
  • Knowledge and practical experience working with HM Revenue & Customs’ Real Time Information (RTI) Scheme
  • Ensuring adherence to regulations set by HM Revenue & Customs and other regulating bodies.

 To be considered for this position you must be:

  • A minimum of 2 years working with a Payroll position or a role which incorporated full Payroll duties
  • Knowledge of Payroll systems
  • Ability to interact with wide range of internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
