iMultiply are exclusively engaged to appoint a permanent part-time Office & Investment Administrator with a private equity business based in Edinburgh city centre

The Role

The role comprises of two main functions: (i) office management; and (ii) investment administration support.

The successful candidate will be the face and voice of the company. They will be the first point of contact for company clientele, so excellent inter-personal and communication skills are key. The successful candidate will also ensure the highest quality service for clients by maintaining an efficient office environment; as well working closely with investment managers, supporting the investment process through accurate administration.


The role of Office & Investment Administrator is a part-time position for 25 hours per week. The client would like these hours to be completed over 5 days, 10.00am - 4.00pm.

The office premises are based in Edinburgh city centre and easily accessible via public transport.

A full-time equivalent salary of up to £22,000 (£15,714 pro-rata) is on offer plus an exceptional benefits package including:

You will be involved in but not restricted to the following duties:

Office Administration:

  • Operating firm reception including office phones and visitor arrival.
  • Managing the organisation of company events.
  • Organising and sending company mail.
  • Maintenance of office supplies.
  • Attending and organising company meetings including taking minutes.
  • Photocopying, printing and scanning required documents.

Investment Administration:

  • Supporting managers on both sides of the investment process, including:
  • ensuring accurate logging of company investors commitments and funds received by the relevant legal entity in time for schedule completion; and
  • ensuring that share certificates are appropriately lodged, Enterprise Investment Scheme certificates are received from investees and remitted to investors in an efficient manner.
  • Filing Fund & investment documents.

To be considered for this opportunity, you must have the following experience:

  • Experience working in an office and/or investment administration role is essential.
  • Ability to liaise and communicate with senior internal and external stakeholders.
  • Exemplary communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills, in particular Excel.
