An experienced Data Analyst is required by a Lanarkshire-based business


The Company

This FMCG business is an instantly-recognisable name and produce some of the biggest-selling brands in the UK. They have been operating for well over a century and have built a first class reputation not only for the quality of their products, but also for the way they conduct their business.


The Role

Working within the Shared Services department, you will ensure that the business has high quality master data which will in turn improve the decision-making process. This team plays a pivotal role in the management of the business and you will need to maintain accuracy at all times within this fast-paced environment.



  • Ensure all master data is complete, accurate and appropriate
  • Assist with the resolution of Master Data issues and escalate as appropriate
  • Promote “Right First Time” principles and pro-actively contribute to continuous improvement of processes
  • Develop process life cycle maps and communicate changes to relevant stakeholders
  • Ensure all data management and reporting processes are lean and efficient
  • Provide stakeholders with insightful analysis on cashflow, payments, etc
  • Develop reporting tools via Excel and other means as appropriate


On Offer

This position comes with a salary in the region of £23-27k, depending on experience, as well as other benefits


To be considered for this opportunity, you must have the following experience:

  • At least 3 experience of a similar role within a fast-paced Data Management team is essential
  • Demonstrable experience of working with complex ERP systems (ideally JD Edwards)
  • Advanced Excel skills would be advantageous but as a minimum you will be extremely comfortable with Pivot Tables and V-Lookups   
  • You will be highly skilled in the review and improvement of procedures, as well as communicating new ideas to the wider business
