A start-up tech company based in Glasgow is looking for a Part Qualified Management Accountant to join their growing Finance team.


The Company

This global organisation works with many blue-chip companies across a variety of sectors supporting them with forward thinking solutions to develop business.  Having recently received investment, this company is looking to grow their team in the Glasgow office.

The Role

Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will be responsible for the day to day bookkeeping requirements.  Your workload will be varied and therefore you must be able to multi-task.  In addition, you will have some autonomy and will thrive in a cross-departmental team culture.


  • Preparation of monthly management accounts
  • Responsible for statutory reporting
  • Produce and analyse P&L reports
  • Assist with managing the audit process
  • Prepare and submit VAT returns
  • Reconcile balance sheets and cash flow
  • Monthly Payroll preparation
  • Responsible for all Purchase and Sales Ledger
  • Bank reconciliation
  • Manage staff expenses

On Offer

You will be offered a salary of £25,000 - £30,000 depending on experience plus a great benefits package and the opportunity to work in a start-up that is changing the way some companies operate.

To be considered for this opportunity, you must have the following experience:

  • Be a Part-Qualified or Qualified by Experience Management Accountant
  • Have previously worked in a start-up environment ideally within the technology sector
  • An understanding of IFRS
  • Have experience working with Salesforce and/or Xero
  • First class commercial acumen with demonstrable experience of influencing business decisions
  • Excellent communication skills, particularly when dealing with Senior Management
