A global professional services business seeks an ambitious Management Accountant from either an industry or practice background.

The Company

An immediately recognisable brand, renowned for its commitment to client service. The business can count many household names as customers as well as servicing the requirements of smaller businesses across the Island of Ireland and mainland UK. The Belfast office is going through a very exciting period of high-growth, providing an excellent opportunity to be part of its continued success.

The Role

An exciting time to be joining a new team which has been formed to lead the delivery of a key growth area within the reporting and compliance side of the business. Duties will include:

  • Preparation of management accounts and reporting packs in accordance with the clients’ schedules and requirements
  • Developing, building and maintaining relationships with clients
  • Ensuring all bookkeeping and related activity has been completed in accordance with the clients’ schedules
  • Preparation and coordination of VAT and other statutory returns in accordance with the clients’ submission dates
  • Using several different finance management software applications

  On Offer

The salary range for the position is £30,000 – 33,000 + an excellent benefits package. The business is also prepared to offer flexible working or Part Time hours.

To be considered for this opportunity, ideally you have the following experience:

  • A qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
  • Ability to plan and produce accurate detailed work to meet agreed deadlines
  • A service orientated person, ready to put customer requirements first
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with individuals at all levels
  • Enjoy working as part of a team and achieving shared goals and objectives
  • Possess an inquisitive and analytical mindset
  • IT literate and receptive to new IT developments
