The Role

This newly created role of Management accountant will be reporting directly into the Financial Controller and is an extremely varied role where the successful candidate will receive unlimited exposure with the ability to progress & develop their skills and knowledge further. To be considered for this role you must be prepared to assist and support in carrying out all aspects of accounting from start to finish including; profit and loss analysis as well as preparing valuation calculations, production of financial reports and other ad hoc tasks

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Production of timely & accurate monthly & annual accounts for the Company with commentary for senior management
  • Produce annual budgets and forecasts
  • To prepare all VAT returns to ensure timely & accurate submission.
  • Responsible for the timely and accurate logging of invoices, processing the same for payment and ensure all credit time lines are met.
  • Cash flow management
  • Various other tasks as required within the department

To be considered for this role you will:

  • Be newly qualified or Actively studying towards CIMA or ACCA
  • Good and practical knowledge of current accounting standards (essential)
  • Experience in management accounting role (desirable)
  • PC-literate with a good, working knowledge of Excel.
  • Able to work within a small team and as well as on your own in initiative
  • Have excellent verbal and written communication
  • To be well organised and able to demonstrate effective prioritisation of work to meet deadlines
