The Role

The Finance Manager will be responsible for providing guidance and valuable financial insight to the Senior Management Team to influence strategical decisions & direction. Furthermore, you will be tasked with partnering with Divisional Heads to assist with budgets, forecasts and KPI’s. To be considered for this opportunity you must be a qualified Accountant with exposure to both financial & management accounting.

On Offer

The role of Finance Manager will offer a salary of £40,000 - £42,000 plus a highly competitive benefits package including generous holiday & pension allowances. The offices are based closed to Stirling with parking facilities available and accessible via public transport.

You will be responsible for but not limited to the following duties:

  • Providing guidance and valuable financial insight to the Senior Management Team to influence strategical decisions & direction
  • Managing a small finance team
  • Production and presentation of monthly management accounts
  • Preparation of statutory accounts and returns
  • Complex VAT returns
  • Variance analysis
  • KPI setting and analysis
  • Budgeting setting and monitoring
  • Cashflow analysis
  • Overseeing balance sheets maintenance and reconciliations
  • Reviewing and developing processes, procedures & controls
  • Adhoc duties

To be considered for this opportunity, you must have the following experience:

  • Qualified Accountant – ESSENTIAL
  • Experience of financial & management accounting – ESSENTIAL
  • Ability to business partner with SMT and Division Heads
  • Intermediate to advance user of Excel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
