iMultiply are delighted to be engaged on a permanent Finance Manager position based in Edinburgh City Centre.

The Role

This business-critical role is a newly created posted to support the business directors and also liaise with senior managers and budget holders. Furthermore, you will partner with the sales team to provide valuable insight, direction and guidance. To be considered for this opportunity you must have a minimum of 4 years’ experience in a similar role and have a strong commercial industry background.This is an amazing opportunity to work for a family run company who value their employees and in return provide state of the art working facilities, competitive salary packages, benefits and industry leading training.

On Offer

The role will offer a highly competitive salary of £40,000 - £45,000 including an excellent benefits package which includes pension, ample holidays and other great benefits.  The offices are easily accessible via public transport.

You will be involved in but not restricted to the following duties:

  • Process End of Month Accounts – P&L, Balance Sheet, Aged Debtors and Creditors, Stock Costings, Prepayments and Accruals
  • Produce End of Month Management Packs
  • Produce accurate Finance reports to specific deadlines
  • Forecasts Budgeting and Planning
  • Manage Budgets and give monthly report on spend
  • Help produce Information Memorandums for Investment
  • Complete Monthly VAT return
  • Bank Reconciliations across Multi-Currency Accounts
  • Manage Invoice Financing
  • Manage Trade Loans, Letters of Credit etc
  • Expense Analysis
  • Manage Cashflow, ensuring it is up to date, accurate and monitor trends
  • Manage credit control and work with the Finance Administrator to ensure customers pay promptly
  • Issue Payroll and calculate commissions ready for SD sign off, supply Accountants with any update’s leavers, new starters, promotions etc
  • Process all invoices and proformas or oversee Finance Administrator completing this work.
  • Train Finance Administrator and recruit new team members as required
  • Manage Credit Insurance and other insurances to ensure we are covered in a cost effective and accurate manner.
  • Ensure any delegated finance is accurately processed

To be considered for this opportunity, you must have the following experience:

  • Ideally suited to a newly qualified accountant with ambitions to progress to Financial Controller
  • A minimum of 5 years practical finance experience in a similar role including strong financial analysis
  • Previous experience in a managerial role with people management responsibilities
  • Intermediate to advanced user of Excel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
