The Role

The position of Finance Business Partner is a newly developed role as a result of a significant restructure within the finance department. The role will report directly to the Head of Finance with a dotted line to the Chief Financial Officer. To be considered for this role you must be at the part qualified or finalist level & actively perusing your professional accountancy qualification.

You will be involved in but not restricted to the following duties:

  • Reporting to the Head of Finance with a dotted line to the Chief Financial Officer
  • Business partnering with departmental heads and functions
  • Involvement in business critical and high value project
  • Production and presentation of monthly reporting packs
  • Assisting with budget setting and monitoring
  • Assisting with short, medium and long-term forecasting
  • Assisting with preparation of statutory accounts & returns
  • Ensuring the integrity of the balance sheet
  • Month-end – accruals, prepayments, journals
  • Building relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Adhering to processes, procedures and controls
  • Adhoc duties

To be considered for this opportunity, you must have the following experience:

  • Actively perusing a profession accountancy qualification – part qualified or finalist
  • Strong management accounting experience
  • Ability to business partner with non-financial stakeholders
  • Intermediate to advanced user of Excel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
