iMultiply are delighted to be exclusively engaged on the role of Finance Assistant for a well-established non-for-profit organisation based in Edinburgh.

The Role

The role of Finance Assistant will report to the Finance Manager. The successful candidate will be involved in managing the purchase and sales ledger functions; as well as being involved with Cashbook postings and bank reconciliations. This individual must have experience of working in a finance-based role; and should have good Microsoft Excel skills i.e. pivot tables, vlookups etc. 

On Offer 

The role of Finance Assistant will offer a salary of £18,000 - £19,000 plus an excellent benefits package. The office is based in Edinburgh and is easily available via public transport, with parking available on site. 

You will be involved in but not limited to the following duties:

  • Reporting to the Finance Manager
  • Processing purchase invoices and 3-way matching of purchase orders
  • Sales Ledger – credit control and creating invoices
  • Managing the Cashbooks 
  • Bank Reconciliations 
  • Other ad hoc finance and administration duties 

To be considered for this role you must: 

  • Have experience of working in a finance-based role
  • Have experience of operating finance-based software 
  • Have good MS Excel skills, including pivot tables and vlookups 
  • Have an excellent ability to form strong relationship with non-finance stakeholders and communicate effectively
