iMultiply are delighted to be exclusively engaged on a Finance Administrator position with one of Scotland's market leaders in the legal sector. The role is based in Edinburgh City Centre and is paying a salary of £20,000 - £22,000, plus a competitive benefits package.

The Role

The successful candidate will work as part of the Financial Compliance team, helping to achieve key objectives. They will ensure the effective maintenance of the company's integrity with regards to risk controls; as well as advising relevant company personnel on compliance related matters. The role will require someone with excellent communication skills - as they will work closely with other departments within the business to achieve wider company objectives. 

On Offer

The role of Finance Administrator will offer a salary of £20,000 - £23,000, plus a competitive benefits package, and is based in Edinburgh City Centre. The office is easily accessible via public transport.

You will be involved in but not restricted to the following duties:

  • Ensure that all new and existing client data is accurately recorded on company client management system 
  • Assess and highlight any possible conflicts for all clients, and identify clearly where the conflict exists
  • Ensure proper compliance procedure for new clients is followed and accurately recorded i.e. client ID/verification, risk assessment etc.
  • Responsible for ensuring Letters of Engagement are sent out when if/when required 
  • Assess new and existing client's financial credibility and risk assessment  
  • Maintain knowledge of company security policies, and protect information assets from unauthorised access

To be considered for this opportunity you must have the following experience:​

  • Experience of working in an administration based role 
  • Experience of working in a professional services environment
  • Be able to prioritise and organises your workload efficiently
  • Be able to form effective working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders of the business
  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Have an aptitude for understanding processes and procedures
