Entrepreneurial Tax Trainee (2 vacancies)

We are currently looking to recruit two Trainee Entrepreneurial Tax Advisors to assist other members of the Entrepreneurial Tax Team in order to ensure our clients’ needs are identified and addressed accordingly. 

Our Entrepreneurial Tax Team have won Tax Team of the Year in the Scottish Accountancy Awards for the last two years running.  This is a fast moving, exciting, role with fantastic opportunities for challenging work with phenomenal clients.  Due to the success of the team, there are no barriers to rapid career progression.

What you will do:

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining a varied portfolio of clients
  • Preparation of advance assurance for Seed Enterprise Investment Scheme/Enterprise Investment Scheme
  • Preparation of share valuations for the purpose of share schemes
  • Ongoing compliance reporting for share schemes
  • Annual returns regarding Employment Related Securities
  • Preparation of Research & Development tax relief claims
  • Preparation of corporation tax accounts provisions, computations, and tax returns
  • Technical research to support tax advisory projects
  •  Undertaking new client procedures

  • Degree qualified or about to qualify, preferably in accountancy, any other numerate discipline or law
