The Role

The role of Entrepreneurial Tax Advisory Specialist is a newly created position which highlights the aforementioned growth. You will join a small but experienced team to service an exciting array of clients. Working alongside a high flying and inspirational Senior Management team you will be given unlimited exposure to some complex and interesting advisory work. As the team continues to grow you will have the chance to progress your way through the firm and assist in the development of an already impressive portfolio.

The role of Entrepreneurial Tax Advisory Specialist will offer a competitive salary plus benefits and excellent progression potential.

The role will encompass the following duties:

  • Managing a diverse client portfolio to deliver advisory (80%) and compliance (20%) work to a high standard
  • Tax valuation work, particularly in relation to HMRC approved employee incentive schemes such as EMI and CSOP
  • Working with businesses and their legal advisors to implement such schemes, ensuring that all relevant requirements from a tax perspective are met
  • Supporting businesses with SEIS/EIS/VCT fundraise work from a tax side
  • Provide expert tax advice on advisory projects
  • Act as an approachable and motivational figure to achieve your team's potential through coaching and mentoring
  • Building client relationships
  • Reviewing corporation tax returns, computations and provisions
  • Liaising with other departments to ensure a concise and co-ordinated client service


To be considered for the role you will have the following skills and experience:

  • Qualified Accountant or equivalent– ESSENTIAL
  • Experience of providing Tax Advice within the SME market
  • A strong business acumen
  • Be personable and comfortable in working with clients
  • Reviewing the work of junior staff
