A 3 month contract has become available for an experienced Credit Controller within a Chartered Accountancy firm based near Glasgow.

The Role

The Credit Control Assistant role supports the Credit Manager by following and implementing the Credit Control policy and procedures for the Firm. The role has been created to provide additional support during a period of growth and on-going success.


  • Maintain relationships with your allocated clients and ensure any outstanding debts are recovered within agreed timescales
  • Use initiative to achieve results while maintaining high levels customer satisfaction
  • Contact clients via telephone, email, letter
  • Working towards and achieving monthly targets
  • Monthly Cashflow Forecast for submission to management
  • Maintain accurate customer details and account records
  • Regular customer contact by phone and email
  • Payment processing

This role comes with a salary of £18k. 

To be considered for this opportunity, you must have the following experience:

  • Prior experience in a busy Credit Control department will be required
  • A proven ability to manage your own workloads and work towards strict deadlines
  • Demonstrable experience in maintaining compliance and ensuring client data is up to date
  • Excellent IT skills
  • A professional manner and an ability to liaise effectively with clients and colleagues
