The Role

As the Credit Control Manager, you will lead, motivate and develop the small team to ensure KPIs are met on a daily basis. You will be the driving force for continuous improvement within this team and you will ensure the highest of standards are maintained.



  • Oversee all Credit Control duties for your allocated divisions, ensuring debtors are managed effectively
  • Negotiate payment terms
  • Lead and develop a small, dedicated team and ensure all training needs are met
  • Delegate tasks effectively and provide regular feedback on performance versus KPIs
  • Manage underperformance with professionalism and in accordance with company guidelines
  • Take responsibility for the Sales Ledger function and ensure all invoicing is accurate and up-to-date
  • Collate and prepare reports on Aged Debt for presentation to Senior Management
  • Act as the escalation point for customers with issues or complex queries


On Offer

A salary of £25-32k is on offer for this role, depending on experience.


To be considered for this opportunity, you must have the following experience:

  • Extensive Credit Control experience is essentially, ideally within a large, fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrable management experience gained in a similar role
  • You must be able to manage staff performance via KPIs and on-going training/coaching
  • First class Excel skills will be essential, particularly the use of Pivot Tables and V-Lookups
  • Excellent communication and negotiating skills will be required
