iMultipy are supporting a highly commercial business in West Lothian with the position of Credit Control Consultant.

The Role

The position of Credit Control Consultant is a contracting position to support the Financial Controller and Finance Director. It’s an ongoing contract that will last a minimum of 4-6 months and is a business-critical project. To be considered for this opportunity you must be well versed in improving working capital through debt collection whilst reviewing and developing processes, procedures & controls.

On Offer

The position of Credit Control Consultant will offer a salary or daily rate of £30,000 or £115/£130 per day. The office premises are based in West Lothian with parking available onsite.

You will be involved in but not restricted to the following duties:

  • Reporting to the Financial Controller & Finance Director
  • Analysing aged debt and raising accounts of concerns including producing a recovery plan
  • Improving working capital through debt collection
  • Reviewing and developing processes, procedures & controls
  • Review the invoice raising process with a view of further enhancements to improve efficiency and effectiveness of collections
  • Staff development and training to upskill the collections workforce
  • Assist with ERP system developments
  • Liaising with customers and clients to answer questions, queries and resolve any outstanding issues.
  • Building relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Adhoc duties

To be considered for this opportunity you must have the following experience:

  • Proven track record of effective credit control – ESSENTIAL
  • Proven track record of developing processes, procedures & controls
  • Staff development & training experience would be advantageous but not essential
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
