iMultiply are delighted to be engaged by a high growth business to assist with the permanent appointment of a Commercial Finance Manager paying £45,000 - £55,000 based closed to Lanarkshire.


The Company

This highly commercial and forward-thinking business have experienced a substantial period of growth over the past decade and they have now established themselves as a recognisable brand within the market. However, that journey is only 30/40% complete with the business having has excellent potential for further organic growth and M&A activity.

The Role

The position of Commercial Finance Manager will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer. You will be responsible for providing in depth financial analysis and commentary to support the leadership team with the direction, strategy and business planning of the company. To be considered for this opportunity you will be a qualified Accountant with strong FP&A experience within industry or have CF/transactional experience from the Big Four/Top Tier and looking to make your first move into industry.

On Offer

The role of Commercial Finance Manager will offer a salary of £45,000 - £55,000 plus a competitive benefits package. The offices premises are based closed to Lanarkshire with parking facilities available onsite.

You will be involved in but not restricted to the following duties:

  • Reporting to and deputising for the CFO in relation to all FP&A activity
  • Involvement in a number of ongoing and upcoming high value & business critical projects
  • Providing guidance, direction and input to the leadership team on the financial viability of projects, contracts and other business activities
  • Finance business partnering with key stakeholder, both financial and non-financial
  • Production and presentation of monthly reporting packs to the leadership team, Board and external stakeholders
  • KPI setting and reporting
  • Budgeting setting and monitoring including ability to challenges variances
  • Short, medium and long-term forecasting
  • Reviewing and enhancing processes & procedures
  • Liaising and building relationships with senior stakeholders
  • Liaising and coordinating with the core finance function
  • Adhoc duties

To be considered for this opportunity you must have the following experience:

  • Qualified Accountant – ESSENTIAL
  • FP&A industry or Big Four/Top Tier CF/transactional experience
  • Advanced user of Excel
  • Ability to interact and build relationships with senior stakeholders
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
