The Company

One of Scotland's largest, independent Chartered Accountancy practices based in Glasgow. As technology continues to change the shape of the Accountancy profession this practice has developed a very agile and adaptable culture to ensure that they are at the forefront of these changes.

The Role

The role will involve overseeing a large team and handling the statutory compliance, cloud accounting and advisory requirements of the firms' largest commercial customers as well as clients from the charity sector.

Responsibilities 

  • Managing a portfolio of clients
  • Ensuring the planning and completion of all work to the highest standard
  • Managing workflow and work allocation
  • Dealing with clients and liaising with other departments
  • Staff management, appraisal and mentoring
  • Involvement in business development and networking activities, including cross selling the Firm’s other departments
