The Company

The Role

Responsible for management, analysis and reporting of Group financial performance and KPIs to the Senior Management team and Board. You will be responsible for period end and budgeting processes, the strategic forecasting model and help shape external messaging of business performance at key reporting periods. 

  • Own the month-end process ensuring that all internal reporting deadlines are met and all associated analysis
  • Continuous development of monthly board reporting packs with insightful business performance
  • Group-wide KPI reporting and developments of associated analysis at a group level
  • Design and deliver ad hoc performance reporting and analytics for a range of business requirements, with a focus on delivery of key business reporting metrics
  • Draw reliable and timely financial and non-financial data and information together from a range of sources and provide thorough analysis, insights and options to enable the Leadership Team and Board to make effective business decisions
  • Assist the Finance Director in development of external market messaging and liaise with analysts accordingly
  • Develop and oversee the business-wide annual budget and reforecasting and engage with and challenge key stakeholders during the budget process
  • Lead 5 year forecast financial modelling activity to support leadership team in the making of financial, commercial and strategic decisions
  • Provide scenario-based financial modelling on future business impact 
  • Actively participate in business-wide projects and initiatives
  • Manage one member of the team (Finance Analyst) and provide on-the-job coaching and feedback

The Person

  • Due to the intensity of the work and significant senior management engagement, we are seeking a minimum of 5 years PQE
  • Highly developed analytical and strategic thinking ability
  • Commercial acumen and the ability to form sound judgements in order to drive robust commercial decision making
  • Good prioritising skills and a professional and values-driven approach
  • A professionally qualified accountant with excellent excel skills
