iMultiply are delighted to be exclusively engaged on the role of Bookkeeper for a growing non-for-profit organisation based in Edinburgh. The role of Bookkeeper is paying a salary of £25,000 - £28,000 per annum. 

The Company

The organisation is a housing association focused on a very particular demographic of people – making them highly unique. They are an extremely professional outfit, who are looking for passionate people to join them at an exciting period of expansion. 

The Role

The role of Bookkeeper will report to the CEO. The successful candidate will have experience of all aspects of bookkeeping including producing management and financial reports; payroll; and VAT and other statutory returns. They will be proactive in their approach, with an analytical mindset and an excellent communication style. 

On Offer

The role of Bookkeeper will offer a salary of £25,000 - £28,000 per annum with an excellent benefits package. The role is based in Edinburgh with parking on site and is easily accessible via public transport. 

You will be involved in but not limited to the following duties:

  • Reporting to the CEO of the organisation
  • Production of management reports 
  • Purchase and Sales Ledger
  • Processing payroll (including PAYE, Pension Scheme and P60s/P11Ds)
  • Budgeting and Forecasting 
  • Managing the organisation’s compliance with relevant regulation 
  • Other Ad hoc duties related to finance and general office management

To be considered for this role you must:

  • Have a minimum of 3 years finance experience 
  • Have experience of working in a bookkeeper role (up to trial balance) or similar
  • Have good IT literacy and experience of Xero is desirable but not essential
  • Have excellent communication and team skills 
  • Have an analytical and progressive mindset
