iMultiply are delighted to be exclusively engaged on a Billing Administrator position with one of Scotland's market leaders in the legal sector. The role is based in Edinburgh City Centre and is paying a competitive salary and benefits package.

The Role

The role will report directly to the Finance Manager and will play a key part in the success of the business. The successful candidate will have experience of working in a similar role, preferably within legal/professional services; and will have a good understanding of all aspects of the billing process. This individual will be highly professional and have an ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders in the business.

You will be involved in but not limited to the following duties: 

  • Report directly to the Finance Manager
  • Handling all facets of the billing process including:
    • Allocating fees to the appropriate fee earner
    • Tracking progress
    • Dealing with any queries from both internal/external stakeholders
    • Accurately preparing and producing bills and credit notes
    • Producing relevant reports outlining the process
    • Assisting with month end
  • Other Ad hoc finance related duties

To be considered for the role you must: 

  • Have experience of working with a similar finance role
  • Have experience of working with legal/professional services (desirable not essential)
  • Have an ability to work to tight deadlines while maintaining excellent attention to detail
  • Have excellent communication skills in order to build and maintain effective working relationships
  • Have good IT literacy – with particular importance being placed on MS Excel
