iMultiply is delighted to be assisting one of the most respected and long established accountancy practices in Scotland with the recruitment of an Audit Manager to work on its Glasgow/West of Scotland clients.

The role of Audit Manager will include the following duties and responsibilities:

  • Working directly with Partners to oversee a portfolio of clients and ensuring that compliance requirements are met
  • Provide high level technical guidance on accounting and audit issues to staff and partners
  • Maintaining high technical knowledge and awareness of emerging issues, attending courses to support this
  • Help develop audit processes and manuals within the firm
  • Providing proactive advice as to technical aspects and solutions to accounting and financial reporting
  • Presenting at internal training courses to Partners and staff
  • Perform various reviews to ensure audit quality across the firm
  • Perform any special professional work as requested by partners


Candidates with the following experience will be considered:

  • A qualification in CA, ACCA or ACA is essential with at least three years post-qualified experience
  • There must be suitable experience of working in practice
  • Detailed understanding of auditing standards
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting requirements including FRS 102
  • Experience in working on not-for-profit audits/accounts
  • Experience of working with Audit and Accounts Production software
  • Able to communicate remotely through the use of teams, zoom and go to meeting.
  • Able to adapt to the latest software
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
