iMultiply are engaged on an exceptional opportunity for an Accounts/Office Administrator based in Edinburgh City Centre

The Company

This thriving start up business offers a bespoke and unique product and due to this focus, they are having a very positive impact on the market in which they operate, they are looking to employ an Accounts/Office Administrator to help them cope with the growth demands of the business  

The Role

The position of Accounts/Office Administrator will be an in-house finance position which gives the successful individual a blank canvas to embed processes, procedures & controls. This is no mundane Administration role as you will working very closely with the Senior Management Team and constantly be given the opportunity to increase your level of exposure and responsibility including assisting with business-critical projects. You will be looking after office administration from shipping to transactional duties to provide real-time information to support commercial decisions and strategy.

On Offer

The role of Accounts/Office Administrator will offer a starting salary in the region of £17,000 - £19,000 per annum and their offices are based centrally in Edinburgh within walking distance to Waverly station.

You will be involved in but not restricted to the following duties:

  • Process payments and purchase orders
  • Responsible for petty cash and reconciliations
  • Stock control management
  • Coordinating office activities and operations to secure efficiency and compliance to company policies
  • Updating records, arranging shipping and related documents 
  • Managing agendas for upper management
  • Answer telephone calls, deal with enquiries promptly and politely
  • Meet and greet visitors in a professional and friendly manner
  • Other general administration

To be considered for this opportunity, you must have following experience:

  • Administration experience within an SME environment – ESSENTIAL
  • Exposure to working with stock and purchasing would be advantageous.
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office including Excel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
