A fantastic opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Specialist based on the outskirts of Glasgow.

They now seek talented individuals to assist with the ongoing growth of the business, both in the UK and internationally


The Role

This managerial position will be highly analytical and you will be heavily involved in processing reports and supporting month end procedures. You will also be responsible for performing account reconciliations and performance reporting, participation in continuous improvement efforts, and partnering with shared service leaders. As the head of a small team, you will ensure staff are suitably trained and motivated, with robust succession-planning in place to assist with the growth of the business.


The Offer

The position of Accounts Receivable Specialist is offering a salary of £24,000 - £29,000 including an excellent benefits package and generous holiday allowance. 


You will be involved in, but not limited to, the following duties:

  • Maintain chart of accounts 

  • Credit Control/Collections

  • Post and reconcile transactions

  • Input accuracy

  • Cash Allocations

  • Preform consolidation and process eliminations

  • Credit vetting

  • Sales reporting

  • Ledger reporting for large volume ledgers

  • Support month end procedures


To be considered for this opportunity, you must have the following experience:

  • Previous experience within an analytical accounts based role

  • Extensive demonstrable experience of managing an Accounts Receivable team

  • The ability to work in a fast-paced, high volume environment

  • Strong experience using Excel

  • Excellent verbal and written communication
