iMultiply are exclusively retained to assist with the appointment of Accounts Payable Assistant for a thriving SME based in Edinburgh paying £19,000 - £21,000, plus a highly competitive benefits package including bonus and other perks.

The role 

The position of Accounts Payable Assistant has arisen based in Edinburgh and is paying a salary of £19,000 - £21,000 plus an excellent benefits package including 30 days holiday (plus birthday).

On Offer

You will be involved in but not restricted to the following duties:

  • Processing high volume purchase invoices
  • Performing Supplier Reconciliations
  • Administer Purchase Order process including invoice authorisations
  • Reconcile Accounts Payable Ledger to Nominal Ledger
  • Liaise with suppliers regarding payment queries
  • Administer company expense process
  • Supporting where appropriate the accounts administrators in other areas of the finance team
  • Ad hoc project work as directed by the Finance management team

To be considered for this opportunity you must have the following experience:

  • Have experience of working within an accounting and finance role
  • Good all-round IT skills including knowledge accounting software(s) and MS excel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • The ability to work under minimal supervision and as part of a team
