An opportunity has arisen to join a highly successful and performing division within a business based in Edinburgh as an Accounts Payable Clerk.

The Role

The successful candidate will have experience in processing high volumes of invoices on a daily basis and all associated finance functions. Ideally, you will have been exposed to a fast paced environment and be able to perform the role in an autonomous fashion.

The Offer

The position of Accounts Payable Assistant has arisen based in the Edinburgh paying a salary of between £16,000 - £18,000.

You will be involved in but not restricted to the following duties:

  • Processing of invoices
  • Matching, coding and batching of invoices
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Liaising with suppliers via phone, email and letter
  • Financial administration
  • Dealing with petty cash
  • Supporting the wider finance function with month end
  • Ensuring compliance with processes, procedures and financial controls
  • Ad hoc duties

To be considered for this opportunity you must have the following experience:

  • A minimum of 6 - 12 months accountancy & finance experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Strong attention to detail
