iMultiply are delighted to be working exclusively on a temp to permanent Accounts Assistant position based in Clackmannanshire.

The Company

This business has built up a prestigious reputation in the Scottish market for setting and raising industry standards. The business is an established, friendly and professional Services company based in Clackmannanshire servicing the Central Belt of Scotland.

The Role

The position of Accounts Assistant is to support all aspects of financial and management accounting. The successful applicant will be required to assist with maintaining the transactional processing for the entire business including developing processes, procedures and controls. This role would ideally suit who has worked in a similar role operating within a SME environment and requires a “roll the sleeves up” attitude and is happy to get involved in all aspects of the day to day running of the business.

On Offer

The role of Accounts Assistant will offer a competitive salary of £19,000 - 22,000 base salary as well as additional company benefits package. The office premises are based in Clackmannanshire with free parking on site.

You will be involved in but not restricted to the following duties:

  • Ensuring the purchase Ledger is up to date and coded properly with all expenses and invoices actioned
  • Ensuring that all cheque requests and payment runs are processed in a timely & efficient manner
  • Dealing with direct debits, mandates and online payments
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Maintaining petty cash
  • Answering any financial queries both internally and externally
  • Assisting with monthly cash flows
  • Making sure all cheque and credit card payments are processed

To be considered for this opportunity, you must have the following experience:

  • Good organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong of transactional processing & maintenance
  • Exposure to preparation of financial accounts & audit preparation
  • Intermediate to advanced user of Excel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to engage with senior stakeholders
