iMultiply are delighted to be retained exclusively on a permanent Accounts Assistant position based in Edinburgh city centre.

The Role

The position of Accounts Assistant is a newly created vacancy to support and provide more freedom to the wider finance and commercial teams. The successful applicant will be required to maintain and prepare accounting records for the groups most successful division.It will require a “roll the sleeves up” attitude and someone who is happy to get involved in additional ad hoc duties as required.

On Offer

The role of Accounts assistant will offer a competitive salary of £19,000 - £21,000 base salary as well as additional company benefits package. The office premises are based in Edinburgh city centre and easily accessible via public transport

You will be involved in but not restricted to the following duties

  • Processing invoices and expense forms
  • Bank account reconciliations
  • Petty cash transactions
  • Completing monthly reconciliations of cash, credit card and online payment accounts
  • Posting accruals, prepayments and credit card transactions
  • Liaise with finance manager with management accounts preparation where requested
  • Assist in preparation of audit files and year end procedures.
  • Administration and filing.

To be considered for this opportunity, you must have the following experience:

  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • Good organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong of transactional processing & maintenance
  • Intermediate user of Excel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Have strong organisational skills and a pro-active approach
  • Employ a diligent and flexible attitude to work.
