iMultiply are exclusively engaged on the permanent position of Accountant based in Fife paying between £38,000 - £45,000.

The Role

Due to continued growth and expansion, the Finance Director has added a new layer into the finance team with the ability to progress to Finance Manager a realistic possibility within the next 18-24 months. The role will support the Finance Director with the production of key management information with the ability to present and business partner with senior non-financial stakeholders absolutely essential. To be considered for this opportunity you must be a finalist (still actively studying) or a qualified Accountant with exposure to the manufacturing sector. Exposure to the manufacturing sector could include managing manufacturing clients within an Accountancy Practice/Firm.

On Offer

The position of Accountant will offer a salary of £38,000 - £45,000 plus a competitive benefits package. The offices are based in Fife and only a 15 minutes’ drive from the Queensferry Crossing with parking facilitates available onsite.

You will be involved in but not restricted to the following duties:

  • Reporting to the Finance Director
  • Overseeing an Accounts Assistant/Bookkeeper
  • Production and presentation of monthly management accounts
  • Business partnering with senior stakeholders including non-financial
  • Assisting with budgeting and forecasting
  • Assisting with statutory accounts & returns
  • Assisting with VAT, taxation and R&D returns
  • Cost & manufacturing accounting
  • Overseeing month end
  • Adhoc duties

To be considered for this opportunity, you must have the following experience:

  • Finalist (Actively studying) or qualified Accountant – ESSENTIAL
  • Exposure to the manufacturing sector – ESSENTIAL (Exposure to the manufacturing sector could include managing manufacturing clients within an Accountancy Practice/Firm)
  • Ability to business partner with non-financial stakeholders
  • Strong user of Excel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
