iMultiply are delighted to be helping Glasgow based social enterprise, Homes for Good in the search for a Finance Manager 

 

Homes for Good has a focus on leading by example in the private rented sector, creating safe happy homes for tenants and sound investments for landlords.   

Their hard work has gained them widespread recognition including the awards of ‘Social Enterprise of the Year 2016’ at both the Social Enterprise Scotland Awards and the Scottish Business Awards as well as the ‘Small Business of the Year 2017’ in the Fairer Glasgow Awards.  

The Homes for Good Group was established in 2013 and has grown rapidly since this time.  It now comprises: 

  

Homes for Good (Scotland) CIC – Scotland’s first social enterprise letting agency – established in 2013, the agency has around 450 properties under management, predominately in & around Glasgow, though stretching across 9 local authority areas. Plans are underway to reach 1000 homes under management within the next 4 years. 

Homes for Good Investments Ltd was established in 2014 to create a property investment portfolio, transforming dilapidated property into beautiful homes for people on low income. To date it has raised £8.75million with investment partners Impact Ventures UK, Charity Bank and Big Society Capital, and now owns 190 properties in the West of Scotland. 

Homes for Good Property Care is a property maintenance subsidiary, which started trading in July 2016. This company provides fast response to required maintenance within the Homes for Good portfolio, ensuring homes are legally compliant and improving the quality of service they offer tenants and landlords. 

Homes for Good Glasgow CIC is the latest addition to the business group, created in July 2018 with £3m of investment, this company has purchased and refurbished over 30 properties to date, with plans to purchase a further 20 within 6 months.

Critical to the continued expansion and on-going success of the organisation, The Homes for Good Group is looking for  a Finance Manager to join them as a key member of the management team, ensuring that the group fulfils all it’s financial duties as required by law, regulators and auditors, effectively monitors its current financial position and plans appropriately for future financial viability as the organisation continues to grow.
