The fundamentals of personal and professional impact & how to achieve it
30 May 2017

iMultiply hosted it's second event in the “iMultiply does..” series with an insightful evening celebrating women’s achievements in business and providing a female-focussed session of inspiration and skills.  The event  was hosted in conjunction with ACCA Scotland and featured guest speaker Vanessa Collingridge, multi award-winning TV & radio presenter and Kirsty Mackenzie, CEO of iMultiply.

Kirsty Mackenzie shared her leadership journey and a very honest and amusing insight to the obstacles she's overcome along the way.  Kirsty delved into what led her to set up her own recruitment business and drew on her own personal stories to explain what motivates her to be the best leader: "It's not what you do or how you do it, it's why you do it."

Vanessa Collingridge led a lively and engaging seminar which explored:

  • How to make yourself more visible as a leader and industry expert / advocate
  • New practical skills to improve personal and professional impact
  • Why we should all care about the impression we create when we walk into a room, chair a meeting, or give a talk

Vanessa on what matters when presenting: "Appearance 55%, voice 38% and content 7%. You need to be engaging"
