Pros of Pro Bono Event

iMultiply Resourcing held a successful event on the “Pros of Pro Bono” at the beginning of October. The event was hosted by Johnston Carmichael and explored the benefits that pro bono work can bring to both charities and individuals.

Key speakers on the evening were Andrew Noble of Melville Housing, David Jack of Ascend HR, Nigel Henderson of Penumbra and Craig Sanderson of the Link Group – great talks which were engaging and well received.

Market Information

The start of Q4 has demonstrated more optimism within the market. There appears to be an uplift in both permanent, contract & temporary recruitment & of recent, movement within the senior finance market too.

There still remains an air of caution when making decisions on who to hire with the recruitment process still being a long drawn out process in some cases. Candidates being "counter offered" by their current employer still remains a big risk as companies more than ever clearly want to keep good talent which is of course to key to any business.
